A pioneer in the field of trade practice in Egypt, the Office provides its clients with a full gamut of quality legal services, ranging from participating in and advising on pre-contract negotiations, to drafting and preparing international commercial agreements. Our experienced lawyers are professional in drafting all types of commercial and trade agreements, including franchise agreements, commercial agency agreements and distribution agreements. Furthermore, the office handles all procedural matters for registering commercial agents with the Commercial Agents Register in Egypt.

The office has participated in several significant trade agreements most recently franchise agreements of Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianni Versace, Iceberg, Berts Café, Linas Café, Illy Coffee, Cold Stone Ice Cream, JB Collection, La Senza, Bossini, Peter Murry’s, Geox, CHI, Tie Shop and several other international brands.

Our general trade and franchise extensive experience resulted from the participation of our lawyers in trade legal activities including but not limited to:

• Members of the Egyptian Franchise Development Association.
• Members of the Franchise Committee in the International Bar Association.
• Organizers of the first legal franchise event in the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in cooperation with the Social Development Fund.
• Mr. Mohamed Serry was a main speaker on “remedies of breach of international franchising in the International Bar Association Conference held in Dublin 2012.
• Mr. Mohamed Serry was a Guest Speaker in the First Franchise Development Training Course organized by Egyptian Franchise Development Association.
