“Serry Law Office” was established in 1938 by Mr. Mohamed Hassan Serry as the first specialized law office in the Arab Republic of Egypt focusing on real estate legal matters; it ranks as one of the oldest and largest law offices in Egypt with over 30 attorneys, consultants and support stuff of highly qualified professionals. Serry Law Office has become one of the fastest growing law offices in Egypt, yet still maintains a family-rooted focus on keeping a calm professional working environment and strongly bonded team of lawyers with a focus on clients’ care and interests.
The office has been offering legal services in Egypt for many of the leading local and multinational companies and its’ direct clients range from multinational corporations, SMEs and academic institutions, Governmental authorities, banks and financial institutions to start-ups and individuals and are spread across a broad spectrum of industries and market sectors. When first established, the Office was specialized in real estate legal matters and Civil and Commercial litigation cases. The Office remains to be a market leader in real estate legal matters and its real estate capabilities are the most highly regarded in Egypt and since 1995 the Office has expanded its scope of services and is now engaged in general practice and specializes in commercial, corporate, investment and banking matters, mergers & acquisitions, business reconstruction, media and technology, major contracts and investment agreements, labor matters, banking and finance, trade and franchising, construction, competition law, litigation and arbitration.
In response to the needs of our clients and to expand the scope of legal services it provides, “Serry Law Office” has built a network of strong links with correspondent law firms in many of the Arab countries in the Middle East; in addition to its correspondent law firms in Europe. Through its network of associates, the Office monitors on behalf of its clients all regional legal developments and is able to manage its clients’ legal matters, thus providing its clients with regional legal services of the highest quality. While the Office is located in Cairo with a branch in Alexandria, it provides legal services in other governorates throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt. Training
We believe that the success of a law firm lies in the quality of its employees, whether attorneys or support staff; therefore, we constantly provide our staff with professional development programs through workshops, seminars, lectures in Egypt and abroad. We accept a limited number of Faculty of Law students for summer training during July and August every year, we make every effort to give those trainees a general view of law practice and provide them with special assignments enabling them to have the broadest possible exposure to our legal services.
