Osama Koriem

Mr. Osama obtained an LL.B from Cairo University in 1991 and has been working as a litigator for more than 20 years. He heads and manages the Litigation Department and supervises our litigation team. Mr. Koriem has gained a wealth of experience in Civil, commercial and economic Litigation cases and handles a wide range of cases before the different Civil, Commercial and Economic Courts.

Osama addresses and resolves disputes before courts, mediation panels, administrative bodies, Ministry of Justice experts, and the State Council and handles legal procedures such as preparing and reviewing corporate/commercial documents, preparing written pleadings, drafting and reviewing claim writs and memoranda, drafting of legal opinions, attending court hearings, raising appeals, and all related services. In addition to his litigation capabilities, Osama has extensive arbitration experience and has represented several of our clients in their disputes in the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration. Osama has an outstanding reputation within Egypt, with wide experience in major litigation and dispute resolution cases, handling complex and substantial disputes and seeking their effective and efficient resolution in whatever way that best serves the interests of clients.

In addition to his dispute resolution extensive experience, Mr. Koriem is a pioneer in the field of real estate and handles all matters related to real estate transactions including conducting real estate due diligences, drafting of and reviewing preliminary and final sale agreements, representing tenants and landlords in lease and rental transactions, real estate mortgages and real estate taxes.

Osama has represented several of our major clients including Maf Misr – Majid Al Futtaim Group LLC, Spring Tours, Mido International Trade Company, Cast Futura, Price Water House Coopers, Barclays Bank, KPMG and several other clients.
