Adel Serry
Mr. Adel Serry is the Senior Partner of “Serry Law Office”. Mr. Serry graduated from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University in 1963 and completed his Masters Degree from the same university in 1965. Mr. Serry worked with the Egyptian Litigation Authority for five years from 1963 until 1968 and was appointed as a District Attorney in Cairo Government from 1968 to 1970.
Mr. Serry has been providing real estate legal services in the Arab Republic of Egypt for many of the leading national and multinational companies for over forty-five years. He directly supervises the efforts and activities of 2 partners and 15 associates who specialize in assisting clients with real estate matters, corporate matters, banking, mergers and acquisitions, civil and commercial litigation.
Mr. Serry is specialized in the fields of real estate and civil and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in all legal forms of real estate transactions and mainly handles matters related to property sale contracts, lease agreements, mortgages agreements, registration procedures of property, real estate taxes, construction contracts, and all matters related to real estate transactions. He was involved in many of the major real estate transactions in Egypt including Maadi City Center, sun set hills, AlBustan Commercial Center, Safa Medical Tower, AlBaroun Castle, Barclays Bank- Heliopolis Branch, KPMG Head Office, Cairo Regional Center For International Commercial Arbitration, Egyptian American Bank- Main Branch, ABC Main Branch, New Giza Project and several others.
In addition to his real estate experience, Mr. Serry is a pioneer in the litigation field; he is a lawyer at the Court of Cassation and heads the litigation department, which currently handles over 500 Civil and Commercial Cases before the Egyptian Courts. Mr. Serry handles all litigation and dispute resolution legal procedures such as, preparing written pleadings, drafting and reviewing claim writs and memoranda, drafting of legal opinions, attending court hearings, raising appeals, and all related services, within Egypt, with wide experience in major litigation and dispute resolution cases, handling complex and substantial disputes and seeking their effective and efficient resolution in whatever way that best serves the interests of clients.
